A fancy antique Victorian locket in the 'Aesthetic' taste and inspired by a plethora of artistic ideas. The incredible hand engraved central panel is bordered by stars, and that itself bordered by beads inspired by the fashion for historical jewels. The back is a beautiful bouquet of ferns and roses, and to the inside both of the original frames are retained. The shiny front and back panels are of 9ct Gold and the matt body of Silver which has been mercury Gilded to create interest and add contrast to the design.
